Amy scored the first goal with aggressive forward play directing the ball into the goal from a ricochet off of a SEH defender. Katelyn scored the 2nd goal by beating her opponent going around the outside and bringing it in and shooting over the keeper far post. Our 3rd goal was by Marissa hitting from outside right with strike that had so much velocity that the keeper did not have a chance.

Ally scored the first goal with a one touch strike in front of the goal. Laing stayed calm and cool while in position to receive a great pass (assist) from Katelyn, Laing then two touched the ball to get a better shot and nailed our 2nd goal into the back of the net. Marissa had a screaming shot that was too much for the keeper to handle, Bethany was there to clean up the missed save to score the 3rd goal of the match.

Lighting played the ball back to their Keeper to relieve pressure and Lorena charged forward and unselfishly sacrificed her body and blocked the keepers attempt to clear the ball into the goal.

Lorena racks up a hat trick today scoring three times followed by Marissa finding the net and also getting an assist. Bethany also gets on the score sheet scoring the third TU goal of the match.

The girls were fired up to battle for Temecula bragging rights. Bethany opened the match with the first goal and TU never looked back. Katelyn and Emily both get two scores each while Kitch and Dana Nielsen each get to the net successfully. Marissa and Emily also receive credit for very timely assists.
WON October 2nd 2010 US vs Scripps - TU 5 Scripps 1 No Pictures
Our first goal was by Bethany with a nice assist from Emily. Bethany then assists Lorena for our second score. Bethany gets hot and scores our third goal with an assist from Amy (Bethany’s 2nd goal of the day). Emily gets into the action with a strike that was too hard for the keeper to handle. Our final goal was a spectacular far post shot from the left edge the penalty area by Taelyn.

Today first place was on the line and Lorena comes through with an assist from Marissa, blistering the ball over the Keepers outreached hands for our first goal. Lorena seals the victory scoring from a great assist by Amy.

Lorena scored the 1st goal with a great assist from Ally. Katelyn scored the 2nd goal by capitalizing on a missed save by the Express keeper and blasting the rebound to the back of the net. Our defense once again proved its’ excellence by posting their 6th shutout of the season.

Our undefeated season came to end losing to a relentless FC San Diego side. Today the team experienced that every minute of the match must be played with their best effort in order to have an opportunity to be successful. The girls remain on top of the bracket holding Poway off via the head to head tie breaker. One game at time ladies.

Once again the defense shut out their opponent. Great job Defense. Christina had 2 saves and 4 sliding tackles that prevented fast breaks. Lorena scored all 4 goals, but it wouldn't have been possible without assists from Katelyn, Marissa, Emily and Captain Kitch.

The Defense did a great job again today shutting out the Attack. Khalia saved a goal by sacrificing her body by taking a shot to her stomach while protecting the far post. Christina logged 3 saves. Lorena has been on fire scoring 2 more goals with assists from Katelyn, and Marissa. Taelyn scored a goal with an assist from Marissa.

Chalk up another win for Temecula United Girls Under 15. Once again the Defense didn’t let their adversary score a goal. Christina had another great game with 9 saves. The Offense picked up the attack in the second half scoring 2 goals. The 1st goal was possible by Kitch floating pass over the defense and Lorena did a great job controlling the ball while beating a charging keeper to complete the goal. Emily was a significant factor playing from her outside midfield position by consistently beating her defender. Her tenacity was rewarded with a brilliant cross to allowing Marissa to set up for a well time shot on goal. Great teamwork ladies!

It's the last game of the season and we are playing under the lights in the rain, wind and cold. The girls needed to win this game to capture the league championship. Lorena put the team in the driver’s seat with the games 1st goal with an assist from Taelyn. Our second goal was a shared effort between Ally and Kitch and made it seem like the rain, wind, and cold weather was not important, the championship was close. Katelyn scored the 3rd goal with a great assist from Emily. The 4th and last goal of the game was a nice header by Emily with assist from Katelyn. This was truly a great night and a well earned championship.
